Strenghtening Android privacy and security
By Paolo Amoroso • Issue #47 • View online
We all want privacy and security on our devices. But there are so many options and settings, we have to dig a bit for the ones we want.
There’s another dimension we should think about when seeking more privacy and security. We have some control over a spectrum. At one end of the spectrum, we think of the parties involved with producing and operating our devices such as manufacturers, Google, phone carriers, and so on. But we can and should control this spectrum at our end too, for example when sharing our devices with other people.
This issue has links to two guides to the features and settings at our end of the spectrum.
