Educational materials, tutorials, and technical documentation are full of visuals. This is no surprise since screenshots and screencasts show and clarify the subject.
Your Chromebook lets you create also this visual content. The native Chrome OS tools have always been minimal, as you could only take screenshots of the full screen or a portion. But Chrome OS added more advanced screen capture features that cover most cases of screen capture and video recording. See the tutorial linked below.
