Organizing your Chromebook’s app launcher
By Paolo Amoroso • Issue #58 • View online
Is your Windows or macOS desktop full of file and app shortcuts you access often?
Chrome OS has something similar. The launcher is to Chrome OS what the desktop is to traditional operating systems. This realization made a difference to me. It motivated to clear the clutter and organize the icons on my launcher, which previously spanned several pages.
Now all the apps and files I need are neatly grouped in a dozen folders on a single page. The Chrome OS shelf, i.e. the bottom bar, has room for a few more app shortcuts.
An article in this issue presents useful ideas for organizing the launcher of your Chromebook.
