Not being a visual learner, I don’t turn to YouTube first when I want to learn something. Instead, I do a Google search for written tutorials or other text resources.
Text lends itself to quickly browsing and searching for relevant keywords. And reading matches my slow learning and thinking style. With instructional videos, I have to constantly seek and watch to check whether I’m at the right spot, which is boring and time-consuming.
Videos aren’t supposed to be searchable, or so I thought, until I found the article below about finding specific parts of YouTube videos.
