Creating images with Google Slides

What’s your favorite image editing app?
You likely use Photoshop on the desktop and Snapseed on Android, both of which are bitmap editors that work at the pixel level. This provides incredible flexibility but what if you want to change some attribute of an element, such as text or the position of a shape? Vector image editing apps are better at this as they work at the shape or element level.
A tutorial in this issue suggests how to repurpose for vector image editing an unlikely tool, Google Slides.
